NoFee is a marketplace platform that connects clients with freelancers.

We are NOT:

• An employer or employment agency
• A staffing or recruiting service
• A party to any agreement between clients and freelancers
• A guarantor of work quality or payment
• Responsible for the actions of users on our platform

NoFee merely provides the technology platform that enables clients and freelancers to find and work with each other. All working relationships are directly between users.

2. No Guarantee of Work Quality

NoFee does not guarantee:

• The quality, accuracy, or completeness of work delivered by freelancers
• That freelancers possess the skills or qualifications they claim
• That projects will be completed on time or to specification
• That clients will be satisfied with the results
• The accuracy of user profiles or portfolio samples

Clients are responsible for evaluating freelancers, checking references, and assessing work quality before making payments. We recommend starting with smaller projects to establish trust.

3. No Payment Guarantee

NoFee does not guarantee:

• That clients will pay freelancers for completed work
• That payments will be made on time
• Recovery of funds in case of payment disputes

Freelancers are responsible for negotiating payment terms, securing deposits when appropriate, and protecting themselves from non-payment. See our Safety Tips for recommendations.

4. Direct Payment Disclaimer

This means:

• We have no visibility into payments made between users
• We cannot verify that payments have been made
• We cannot recover funds or mediate payment disputes
• We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or incorrect payments
• Users assume all risk associated with direct payments

We strongly recommend using secure payment methods with buyer/seller protection when possible.

5. No Time Tracking

NoFee does not provide time tracking functionality. For hourly projects, we recommend:

• Using third-party time tracking applications
• Agreeing on time tracking methods before starting work
• Regular time reports and check-ins

Recommended time tracking tools include:

• Toggl Track - Simple time tracking with reports
• Clockify - Free time tracker with screenshots
• Hubstaff - Time tracking with activity monitoring
• Time Doctor - Detailed productivity tracking
• Harvest - Time tracking with invoicing

Clients and freelancers should agree on time tracking methods as part of their project agreement.

6. User-Generated Content

NoFee is not responsible for content posted by users, including but not limited to:

• Job postings and descriptions
• Freelancer profiles and portfolios
• Proposals and communications
• Reviews and ratings
• Attached files and documents

While we have community guidelines and content moderation, we cannot review all content before it is posted. Report any inappropriate content for review.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for:

• Content on third-party websites
• Privacy practices of third parties
• Products or services offered by third parties
• Availability or functionality of external services

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• NoFee shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform
• This includes but is not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of platform fees you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim

9. No Warranty

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security of the platform or user data

10. Assumption of Risk

By using NoFee, you acknowledge and accept that:

• You are responsible for verifying the identity and qualifications of other users
• You assume all risks associated with interacting with other users
• You are responsible for your own actions on the platform
• You will exercise due diligence in all transactions
• You understand the inherent risks of online marketplaces

11. Not Professional Advice

Nothing on NoFee constitutes professional advice. For legal, financial, tax, or other professional matters, consult with qualified professionals. This includes:

• Contract and agreement terms between users
• Tax obligations for freelance income
• Business structure and compliance
• Intellectual property rights

12. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the updated disclaimer.
